What is UltreiaCamino?

UltreiaCamino is a project to foster people’s connection to themselves, others and nature. Annually, we facilitate a coaching hike on the Camino de Santiago in the North of Spain (Galicia). Since 2017 we celebrate the magic of blending long distance walking with life coaching.

UltreiaCamino is our crafted space for nature, reflection, and clarity, letting us focus on what truly matters.

UltreiaCamino team

We - Gunda, Irina, and Annika – are a diverse team with complementary professional backgrounds and a shared mission: fostering connection in the world.

Gunda, based in Berlin, is a psychodynamic psychotherapist. Irina, with a cognitive-behavioural psychology background, transitioned to a career in product design. Annika, an organizational psychologist, delivers specialized training sessions to high-end clientele.

How UltreiaCamino felt for others

  • Testimonial Eva

    Disconnect from daily life

“I felt that my entire world was revolving around work, so I wanted to disconnect from daily life to be able to gain perspective. UltreiaCamino brought me exactly what I needed - the guided meditation, the psychological exercises, the group and the Spanish scenery!” (Eva)

  • Testimonial Isabel

    I wanted a space

“I was at a critical moment in my life and I wanted a space for reflection facilitated by professionals and like-minded people. What I liked about UltreiaCamino is that you experience a physical manifestation of the internal process you are going through.” (Isabel)

  • Testimonial Marc

    Enjoying the simple things

“I just love Spain and wanted to have a full week in nature. I feel that, sometimes, my daily responsibilities do not let me enjoy the simple things in life or come back to basics. So joining UltreiaCamino really was the week I needed.” (Marc)

  • Testimonial 4

    Like-minded people

“One-of-a-kind event that helped me discover my CORE & redefine my goals in life through professional coaching methods. The coaching is done in the middle of the nature & in a safe "environment" with beautiful like-minded people. This together with the long walking provided me with clarity on where I stand, what I need to be happier & how to get it. “ (Elena)

Challenges your body and your mind

Walking long distances day after day challenges your body and your mind. El Camino for me meant training my muscles and my motivation to continue. On the way, I met inspiring people from all different backgrounds and parts of the world. Exchanging our stories, supporting each other and sharing joy and gratitude was the most enriching part of UltreiaCamino for me. (Nadine)
